The nonsense Marcel speech in Season 4 about how "I never became you" is just laughable at this point. He killed witches for practicing magic. He had a man carve out his own heart. He imprisoned a man for 5 years in a single room. Marcel was a monster. Just because he became strong and became stronger than Klaus doesn't make him noble.

I've heard Daniel Gillies say in interviews and at panels that this was one of the most memorable scenes he filmed in the whole series for him.

This entire moment had me in tears when I watched it, but when Elijah hugged Kol and gave him a kiss is what broke me. Kol was always a outsider of the trio that was Elijah, Klaus and Rebekah (and Finn was even more of one-) but his face when Elijah hugs him, that realization his loosing both his big brothers (and he had already lost Finn even if Kol din’t love him anymore after Finn killed him-) did it for me

This is not fair. Yes she may be a child who want ber mum but she had to understand that everything Elijah did was in the name of family and protecting especially her. She is really ungrateful and she is beating him up and hating him for loving his family. Never liked Hope after Hayley died. Her attitude was the worst. She is behaving like Elijah didn't care that he let her mum get killed. She was the love of his life and after he remembered he got through the worst times of his life for sure...

Mikealsons had such an ego. I mean if Marcel was even as diabolical as Niklaus, he’d kill em all. Even if Hope tried to take revenge she would be no match for Marcel. I kinda wished on saying he’s showing em mercy he also placed an ultimatum that to even catch a whiff of an original in New Orleans, it would mean eternally hunting em down or instant death like Niklaus n Elijah often did. None of them would have even made that pit stop at their old house just outside New Orleans or even staying a day.
